Terms of Service

Last updated 15 July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and WannaCall Ltd (“WannaReview”, “we”, “our” or “us”), the company behind WannaReview, a Wannaverse product. WannaCall Ltd is registered in England & Wales (company no. 13112226), at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. By creating an account, leaving a review, or otherwise using WannaReview(the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

WannaReview lets account holders collect verified reviews, testimonials, professional recommendations and peer feedback; moderate what is published; host a public profile; and embed approved reviews on their own websites. Reviewers verify their identity through a third-party provider to leave a review. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms, and “you” includes that organisation.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@wannareview.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You may change your account email from your settings; a verification code is sent to the new address to confirm it.

4. Plans and payment

WannaReview is currently free to use. We do not process payments at this time. If we introduce paid plans or features in future, the applicable prices, billing terms and refund arrangements will be presented to you before you commit, and your continued use of a paid feature will be subject to those additional terms. We will not start charging you for something that is free today without clear notice and your agreement.

5. Your content and licence to us

“Content” means anything submitted to the Service, including profile details, reviews, ratings, written feedback, images and video. You retain ownership of the Content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for formatting and display), publish and distribute that Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service, including displaying approved reviews on public profiles and in the widgets you embed. This licence ends for a given item when it is deleted, except for residual backup copies and where we must retain it by law or to prevent abuse.

You represent that you have the rights to the Content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights or break the law.

6. Reviews and verification

Reviews are attributed to a verified identity. Reviewers confirm who they are through LinkedIn, Microsoft or Google before a review can be finalised; a submission that is not verified is never published. A review reflects the personal opinion of its author, not WannaReview. We do not author reviews and, except for moderation and enforcement of these Terms, we do not edit their substance.

7. Review authenticity and manipulation

Genuine, honest reviews are the whole point of WannaReview. You must not:

  • write, commission or publish a fake, incentivised or misleading review;
  • review your own business or profile, or arrange for connected people to do so while posing as independent customers;
  • offer or accept payment, discounts or other benefits in exchange for a review, or in exchange for removing or altering one;
  • selectively suppress genuine negative reviews to create a false impression, or misrepresent reviews as more independent than they are;
  • attempt to create verified identities that are not your own, or otherwise game the verification process.

These practices may also be unlawful under consumer-protection rules on fake and misleading reviews. We may remove Content and suspend accounts that breach this section.

8. Moderation and your responsibility

Account holders choose whether reviews publish automatically or after approval, and can unpublish reviews. Automated checks may flag suspicious submissions for review. You are responsible for the Content on your profile, including reviews you choose to publish. We may, but are not obliged to, monitor, moderate, refuse or remove Content that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms or the law.

9. Public profiles and embeddable widgets

Your profile and approved reviews are public and may be indexed by search engines. We provide code (such as an embeddable widget) that lets you display approved reviews on your own site; you may use it only to display your own WannaReview Content, and you must not alter it to misrepresent reviews or remove verification indicators. We may update or discontinue the widget.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, infringe intellectual property, or violate anyone’s privacy;
  • post content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or knowingly false;
  • impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • upload malware, or attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • scrape, harvest or bulk-extract data except as expressly permitted, or use automated means to access the Service in a way that harms it;
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service except as allowed by these Terms;
  • use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, logos and trade marks, is owned by WannaCall Ltd and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Nothing here transfers our intellectual property to you, and nothing transfers your Content’s ownership to us beyond the licence in section 5.

12. Third-party services

The Service relies on and integrates with third parties, including our hosting and infrastructure provider (Amazon Web Services) and identity providers (LinkedIn, Microsoft, Google). Your use of those integrations may be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements.

13. Teams and organisations

Business accounts can invite members and set reporting lines. If you invite people, you confirm you may share their email address with us for that purpose. Within an organisation, managers in a reporting line may view peer feedback about those they manage. Peer feedback stays with the individual and is not made public unless that individual chooses to publish it.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these Terms. By using the Service you acknowledge that processing.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove Content, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 5, 11, 18, 19, 20 and 21) will continue to apply.

16. Appeals

If we suspend your account or remove your Content and you believe we have made a mistake, you may appeal by emailing support@wannareview.com. We will review appeals in good faith and respond within a reasonable time.

17. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may suspend it for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We may modify these Terms; if we make material changes we will provide notice, and your continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

18. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that reviews are accurate or that the Service will meet your requirements. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

19. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WannaCall Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or reputation, arising from your use of the Service. Subject to the paragraph above on liability that cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, while the Service is free, is nil) or £100.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WannaCall Ltd and its officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of the law.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may benefit from mandatory protections of your country of residence. We encourage you to contact us first at support@wannareview.com so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.

22. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
